Move Texas is a 501(c)(4) created in 2013 by University of Texas at San Antonio students in order to increase voter turnout in local elections. Since then, they have expanded their efforts, operating in six major Texas cities including Houston and Dallas. Move Texas focuses on giving the youth of underrepresented communities the necessary resources to vote and advocate for the resolution of issues that affect their daily lives.
