Voting Matters: Election Decided by a Single Vote

In the 2002 Washington House of Representatives Primary for the 26th Legislative District, Ed Mitchell defeated Kevin Entze by one vote: 5,870–5,869. Unfortunately for Entze one of his friends admitted that he never mailed his ballot. “He left his ballot on his kitchen counter and it never got sent out,” Entze said. #VotingMatters #2018Midterms #Washington
